Getting your floss ready for flossing action:
If you’re using the Orawave’s Power Flosser, Make sure the floss is securely fed into the flosser. If you’re flossing manually; In order to ensure that you’re flossing correctly, begin by taking approximately 18 inches of floss and wrap the ends around your middle fingers. Hold a small section between your thumbs and forefingers.

Once you’ve got your floss:
Slide the floss into the crevice between each tooth and gently rub up and down three or four times against the sides of the adjoining teeth. Because most plaque develops close to the gum line, make sure the floss rubs against each tooth all the way to the area of the gum line. Curve the floss around each tooth, scraping as much of the side of the tooth as possible before moving on to the next tooth. After you have cleaned each crevice, pull the floss through from one side to the other. This will help to remove excess debris between the teeth. Your gums may bleed slightly the first week until the plaque layer is broken up, bacteria are removed and the gums become healthier.

It’s recommended by dental professionals that you brush after flossing to ensure that you’ve gotten rid of plaque and food particles.
